Haddington » Haddington Grave
This grave stone represents a subject to which we wish to examine as a subject in its own right. Suffice it to say that such grave stones are said to represent the last resting place of Knights Templar. This is because the bear carvings of a skull and crossed bones which ‘as everyone knows’ are emblems of the Knights Templar. Whilst not discounting this suggestion out of hand we are a wee bitty wary not least because members of the Rosslyn Templars have seen hundreds of such grave stones all over Scotland and sheer numbers cause us some pause.
