It came as a surprise that there were so many Green Men within St Giles High Kirk. Rosslyn Chapel has dozens whereas St Giles has about 30 which, considering the deprecations of the Reformation, suggests that there would have been a great many more.
This Green Man is damaged and it is to be hoped that it can be fully restored.
