Coldingham » Knight Templar Graveslab at Coldingham Collegiate Church
Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh published a book entitled: The Temple and the Lodge in 1988. The main hypotheses of that book was that graveslabs, such as the above, proved the existence of the graves of anonymous Knights Templar, (or Templars) in Scotland after their escape from France in 1307.
Here one is confronted with a problem: how does one interpret so called KT graves in a place where they not know to have lived and worked?
This is a major problem at Rosslyn Chapel where there are no graveslabs that could be connected with the Knights Templar.
