Templar Cross?
This cross (above) in a double circle has been said to be a Knight Templar Cross. Whilst there are some similarities with a Cross Patée (see below), this cross is, in actuality, a consecration cross placed there soon after the building, or an addition thereto, had been consecrated by church dignitaries.

As can seen the consecration cross has some passing resemblance with the cross patée and might, initially, be confused. With these two images before us we can clearly see that a Cross Patée is obviously different from the consecration cross. The tenuous connection between Dunglass Collegiate Church and the Knights Templar based only on the existence of a few crosses said to be KT Cross Patée means that that connection cannot be sustained.
There is no suggestion that this collegiate church had any connection with Scottish Freemasonry other than via the alleged, and very tenuous, connection with the Knights Templar. Given the above brief discussion it appears that we can not discount any such connection.
