Dunglass Collegiate Church
Dunglass Collegiate Church from the South-west.
The later addition of a Transeptual chapel is clearly shown here and is likely to have been built at the time the church became a Collegiate establishment in about 1444. The walls are of a different height than either the Choir (left) or the Nave (right) making the addition of a Tower something of a challenge for the stonemasons responsible for its erection. |
