Interior of Dunglass Collegiate Church
Interior of Dunglass Collegiate Church looking east.
The two interior arches in the picture is the 'crossing' of the Choir (from where the picture was taken) and the Nave (beyond the second arch) and the Transepts (running between the two arches north (left) and south (right)). Above the 'crossing' is the tower. Rosslyn Chapel is, as a structure, less complete than Dunglass because although the foundations for the Transepts and Nave were laid they were never built upon. Dunglass is far less complete in terms of interior decoration in comparison with Rosslyn Chapel. |
