Dunglass Collegiate Church

A view of Dunglass Collegiate Church from the south east. To the left is the Choir with the south entrance. In the centre is the south Trancept with the Tower beyond. To the right is the Nave. The design is the standard cruciform pattern of many gothic churches building the medieval period. This was also the design used for Rosslyn Chapel although in that instance only the Choir was actually built. The foundations for the Trancepts and Nave were built. Whether or not Rosslyn Chapel would have had a Tower is unknown although, given the design of other Scottish Collegiate Churches around Rosslyn, that would have been quite likely.
