A slightly closer view of the exterior of the chapel showing the steel canopy, the Victorian 'carbuncle' added to the west wall in 1887. Also showing the west wall and the incomplete section (the 'ragged' stonework at the extreme left) . This, it has been suggested, 'proves' that the wall was deliberately left unfinished. A discussion of this suggestion will be posted here once the Rosslyn Templar charged with researching and writing the paper submits it - hint, hint!
